Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Cook up and support external and internal audit processes
• Aid with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Monitor and improve accounting processes, workflows, and system efficiencies
• Partner cross-functionally with leadership, finance, and operations teams
• Aid in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and reporting tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
