About the role
This is a hybrid position based out of New York City or San Francisco, reporting to a Controller. You will be a key player in the corporate accounting team of a fast‑growing AI/technology company on an IPO track, assisting with month and year‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, working closely with FP&A, and partnering with AP and AR.
Responsibilities
- Lead month and year‑end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting
- Collaborate with the FP&A team
- Partner with AP and AR functions
Requirements
- CPA and public accounting background
- At least 1 year of experience in a public company (preferred)
- NetSuite experience
