Accounting Manager Real Estate

About the role

The successful candidate will manage the General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Yardi/MRI systems. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing property balance sheets and income statements, preparing monthly property net operating income reports, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, internal controls, and HR duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly property net operating income reports and analysis
• Maintain support for property balance sheet and income statement accounts for assigned properties
• Full P&L ownership
• Managing wires and financial transactions
• Prepare month-end journal entries for assigned companies
• Review general ledger and adjust/explain variances
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements to management
• Budgeting, forecasting, payroll, internal controls, and HR duties

Requirements

• CAM, Industrial, Commercial, Residential preferred

Qualifications

• Experience with GL, AP/AR, Month end close, Yardi/MRI, journal entries, manage portfolio, bank reconciliations, AP, AR, tax, prepare financial statements, profit and loss, support upper management, and adhoc reporting
• Knowledge of Real Property of income and expenses, Income and expense schedule for rent producing properties, CAM, Industrial, Commercial, Residential preferred
• Experience with preparing monthly property net operating income reports and analysis, maintaining support for property balance sheet and income statement accounts for assigned properties, managing wires and financial transactions, preparing month-end journal entries for assigned companies, reviewing general ledger and adjusting/explaining variances, preparing and presenting monthly financial statements to management, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, internal controls, and HR duties
