Accounting Manager (Healthcare)

The RoleOur client is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their central finance team, reporting directly to the Controller. In this role, you'll own accounting operations across a complex multi-entity, multi-state structure — leading close processes, managing intercompany accounting, supporting acquisition integrations, and partnering with FP&A and operational leadership on financial reporting and controls. What You'll DoLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities and locationsReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and account analysesManage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminationsPrepare and review consolidated financial reporting packagesSupport accounting integration of acquired businesses, including chart of accounts mapping, balance sheet validation, and post-close transition activitiesCoordinate external audits, lender reporting, and investor-level financial requirementsDevelop, mentor, and supervise accounting staffIdentify automation and process improvement opportunities across accounting operationsPartner with FP&A and operations leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis What We're Looking For5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacityBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferredDemonstrated experience managing accounting for multi-site, multi-state, or multi-entity organizationsStrong technical foundation in GAAP, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and complex close processesExperience within a private equity-backed organization preferredMulti-site services industry experience a plusAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)M&A accounting or acquisition integration experience strongly preferred Apply today to learn more!
