About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead operational excellence initiatives, improve controllership, execute on recurring and holistic analytics; with strategic significance and high exposure. This role focuses on controllership with a mission to identify risk, document, design and implement improvements, and build scalable analytical frameworks to be leveraged by multiple cross-functional teams.

  • Exemplify extensive financial statement audit and corporate accounting experience, excelling at problem solving, paying attention to details, and driving positive change by evaluating and streamlining existing operational and accounting processes, controls and metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
  • 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
  • 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)

Qualifications

  • Extensive financial statement audit and corporate accounting experience
  • Extensive experience solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results

Skills

  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
  • Experience working with financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Pay

$95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
