- Manage and mentor a team of staff accountants, overseeing daily operations, client inquiries, and the recruitment of new talent.
- Partner with the product development team to identify automation opportunities and implement AI-driven systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of fund accounting experience specifically within venture capital or private equity, ideally coming from a specialized firm like VMS or Carta.
- Proven leadership skills with 2+ years of experience hiring and training fund accountants while maintaining high standards for client service and accuracy.
- A tech-forward mindset with a keen interest in AI and experience scoping system requirements to replace manual, error-prone paperwork with automated solutions.
