As an Accounting Manager at Formulary Financial, Inc., you will lead end-to-end client deliverables while shaping the future of fund administration. You'll manage staff accountants, oversee complex waterfall calculations, and partner with product teams to automate operations. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of fund administration deliverables, including complex waterfall distributions, capital calls, and comprehensive LP reporting for leading asset managers.
• Manage and mentor a team of staff accountants, overseeing daily operations, client inquiries, and the recruitment of new talent.
• Partner with the product development team to identify automation opportunities and implement AI-driven systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of fund accounting experience specifically within venture capital or private equity, ideally coming from a specialized firm like VMS or Carta.
• Proven leadership skills with 2+ years of experience hiring and training fund accountants while maintaining high standards for client service and accuracy.
• A tech-forward mindset with a keen interest in AI and experience scoping system requirements to replace manual, error-prone paperwork with automated solutions.
