This role offers opportunities in various accounting domains, including Legal Entity & Intercompany, Accounting Policy & Reporting, Operations and Capital, Transportation, Payments & Merchant Services, Retail Operations, Digital, and AWS Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Support various aspects of our accounting and reporting processes with end-to-end process ownership.
- Understand internal control design concepts to assess and improve control effectiveness, including designing new processes and controls for emerging business activities.
- Exercise judgment to keep projects moving and ensure timely, accurate month-end close decisions.
- Escalate risks and issues to leadership as necessary.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to drive positive change across the organization.
- Lead the delivery of accounting tasks and projects.
- Enhance partnerships between Accounting and various business and IT groups.
- Research, conclude, and document technical accounting position papers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
Qualifications
- CPA certification.
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency.
- Experience with GAAP research tools and the FASB codification.
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients.
- Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.

- USA, TN, Nashville: $85,900.00 - $146,900.00 USD annually
