This role offers opportunities in various accounting areas, including Legal Entity & Intercompany, Accounting Policy & Reporting, Operations and Capital, Transportation, Payments & Merchant Services, Retail Operations, Digital, and AWS Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Support various aspects of our accounting and reporting process with end-to-end process ownership.
  • Understand internal control design concepts to assess and improve control effectiveness, including designing new processes and controls for emerging business activities.
  • Exercise judgment to keep projects moving and ensure timely decision-making for monthly book closures.
  • Escalate risks and issues to leadership as necessary.
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to drive positive change.
  • Lead the delivery of accounting tasks and projects.
  • Enhance partnerships between Accounting and various business and IT groups.
  • Research, conclude, and document technical accounting position papers.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

Qualifications

  • CPA certification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of internal control frameworks (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency.
  • Experience with GAAP research tools and the FASB codification.
  • Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients (preferred).
  • Proven ability to research and document support for accounting conclusions.

Pay

The base salary range for this position varies by location:

  • USA, CA, Culver City: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, MA, Boston: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, OR, Portland: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, TN, Nashville: $85,900.00 - $146,900.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Austin: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually

Final compensation will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
