Accounting Generalist

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We offer a unique opportunity to work with diverse wildlife species in a natural habitat setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily animal care and feeding schedules
• Participate in habitat maintenance activities
• Support educational programs and public outreach initiatives
• Contribute to research projects related to wildlife behavior and ecology

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with animals or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in wildlife biology, environmental science, or a related field
• Previous experience in wildlife management or conservation
• Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and wildlife behavior

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• First aid/CPR certification

Pay

Salary range: $18 - $22 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.
