Financial Systems & Accounting Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote, Worldwide Schedule: Flexible Role Overview micro1 is engaging Financial Systems & Accounting Experts to support a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. You'll apply your accounting judgment and financial systems expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs and training data. Prior experience in AI training or human-data work is required. Simply using AI features within accounting software does not qualify. Scope of Work Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and accounting treatments.Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close workpapers.Identify accounting errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies and provide appropriate corrections with clear rationale.Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.Apply written rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI-generated responses.Create realistic accounting scenarios, examples, and reference answers for AI training.Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.Support financial processes from transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting. Required Skills AccountingFinancial ReportingFinancial SystemsNetSuiteGSAPQuickBooksMicrosoft ExcelAccount ReconciliationsJournal Entries & Month-End CloseAI Training / Human Data Evaluation Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A with substantial accounting responsibilities.Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.Hands-on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable financial systems.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Familiarity with tools such as BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.Prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading is required.Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or above).Ability to work independently and meet project quality standards and deadlines.Reliable internet connection and immediate availability.
