Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned properties.
• Ensure accuracy of property-level accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Partner with property managers and leadership to explain financial results and variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Identify accounting discrepancies, process improvements, and internal control enhancements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience within property management, real estate, or commercial/residential property environments.
• Strong understanding of property financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/property management software (Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both accounting and operations teams.

Preferred Experience

• Multi-family, commercial, HOA, or real estate portfolio accounting experience.
• Experience reviewing financials for multiple properties and ownership groups.
