Accounting Consultant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Consultant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $90.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Manage daily accounting activities and support the timely completion of financial reporting cycles.Review financial records, account balances, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.Analyze production related costs and operational data to identify and resolve financial issues.Collaborate with technology, operations, and leadership teams to address system related challenges and improve workflows.Recommend and implement process enhancements that strengthen controls, reporting quality, and operational efficiency. Requirements Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills when addressing complex financial matters.Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding priorities, risks, and resolution progress.Operate independently while managing multiple responsibilities and competing deadlines.Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast paced environment.Adapt quickly to changing business needs while driving process improvements and accountability. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.7+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or production environment.Apply experience working with business systems implementations, conversions, or system optimization initiatives.Utilize advanced spreadsheet and financial analysis skills to support reporting and decision making.Possess professional certifications such as CPA or CMA, which are considered a plus.
