About The Role

Nature of Position: Broad knowledge of General Accounting is needed.
Responsibilities
:::
- Prepare day-to-day financial transactions, including check writing, credit card entry, and bank deposits
- Verify, classify, compute, post, and accurately record accounting data
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Auxiliary with accounts payable processing and vendor communications
- Research, resolve, and communicate any discrepancies or outstanding balances on accounts
- Auxiliary with audit support and other accounting duties as required
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years office experience preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office programs (Word and Excel)
- Experience performing mass downloads and data conversion for import into accounting systems from various source systems
- Experience with accounting platforms is highly desirable
- Intracorp, PeachTree, Sage 50, Net Suites
- Excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Willingness to work cooperatively in a team setting
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness ensuring the highest possible quality
- Ability to maintain a strong work ethic without direct supervision at all times
- Effective oral and written communication
