Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
- Reconcile vendor and bank accounts in a timely manner.
- Accounts payable processing for multiple entities
- Sales/ Use Tax Preparation and processing
- Capture and record Accounts receivable transactions
- Month end closing journal entries and balance sheets
- Draft Monthly Financial statements for review by Accounting Manager
- Aid and support company personnel in corporate office and field
- Aid in special projects as requested.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping
- Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word & Outlook
- Experience with cloud-based or similar accounting systems
Compensation & Benefits
- $20-22/hr
