Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
• Prepare and post journal entries to support monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Handle cash application tasks, ensuring timely allocation of payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online for day-to-day accounting functions and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy.
• Generate advanced Excel reports to analyze financial data and support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to prepare accurate journal entries and financial reports.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and cash application tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
