Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for assigned clients, including:
- Updating bank accounts via online feed
- Importing bank/credit card transactions via manual feed
- Coding bank and credit card transactions
- Escalating open items to the senior accountant/team lead for review
- Manage processing of bills and receipts via third-party web-based applications (e.g., Bill.com, ReceiptBank), including:
- Processing bills uploaded in the Inbox on a specific schedule, ensuring proper coding, description, service date, and approver assignment
- Escalating processed bills to the senior accountant/team lead for review
- Handle accounts receivable tasks as assigned, such as entering customer deposits and applying payments
- Match payroll transactions or enter appropriate journal entries based on provided reports, depending on the payroll schedule
- During closing season, perform:
- Reconciliation in accounting software
- Updates to working papers
- Posting of entries in the books
- Conduct self-review of work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 1 year of working experience in the BPO industry
- Experience using XERO and QuickBooks Online (QBO) required
- Experience using NetSuite preferred but not required
- Experience handling Hospitality and Ecommerce clients preferred
- Licensed CPA is an advantage
- Clear and effective communication skills
Pay
$67,700 - $89,900 a year
