About the role
The Accounting Associate will perform procedures such as document gathering, data analysis, and assisting with preparation of deliverables under the supervision of their Manager. This role involves executing day-to-day accounting and audit activities, conducting fieldwork, and supporting project deliverables in a Federal Government environment.
Responsibilities

- Gather audit-related data
- Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of Federal Government’s financial and management responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and preparing project deliverables
- Utilize technology to share knowledge, develop skills, and continually learn
- Apply accounting and auditing concepts to client situations
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting
- Minimum of 1 year of Accounting and Auditing experience
- Willing to travel up to 50%
- Active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI) required (U.S. citizenship mandatory)
Qualifications
- CPA highly desirable
- 150 credit hours required for CPA eligibility preferred
- Awareness and knowledge of Federal Government’s financial and management responsibilities preferred
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and results-oriented
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $78,000 (base pay only). Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses when applicable.
