Essential Functions
- Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data
- Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
- Updating, verifying, and maintaining accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records
- Aiding in month-end reporting procedures
- Using accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
- Tracking and auditing petty cash, assisting with employee expense reports
- Transferring data to general ledger
- Reconciling and balancing all accounts
- Collating and analyzing account data and generating financial reports
- Preparing checks, payments, and bank deposits
- Reconciling or noting and reporting discrepancies found in records
- Matching purchase and/or work order forms with invoices, and recording the necessary information
- Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events
- Ensuring accurate tracking, monitoring, and recording of all charges, records, and other entries
- Filing and maintaining records
- Transmitting information or documents to colleagues or customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine
- Performing filing and general administrative tasks
- Performing other duties as assigned
Skills And Experience Requirements
- Solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and operate office equipment and technology
