Accounting Associate AR/AP

About the Role

Silver Wings Aerospace, located in Princeton, Florida, is a leading MRO provider specializing in Power Generation (IDG, Generator, CSD), Hydraulic Pumps, Fuel Pumps, and Electrical Accessories. This full-time, on-site position supports the Accounting function with responsibilities in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process information used in financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile accounts and reports.
• Enter journal entries.
• Process and print financials and other financial reports as assigned.
• Maintain accounting records, such as commissions.
• Research, file, and assist in other accounting areas as needed.
• Assist the controller in resolving customer problems.
• Maintain inventory of office and breakroom supplies.

Accounts Receivable

• Generate invoices.
• Process credit applications.
• Negotiate with customers to collect past-due amounts and resolve problems.
• Issue credit memos and adjust customer accounts as required.
• Receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts.
• Assist with financials related to accounts receivable and sales.

Accounts Payable

• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Enter invoices into the computer system.
• Ensure sufficient backup is obtained before invoices are paid.
• Assist suppliers and internal departments to resolve problems.
• Maintain internal vendor files.
• Reconcile freight invoices.
• Verify bank information and address changes with suppliers.

Schedule

Full-time, on-site position. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
