Accounting Assistant Manager - Springdale
About the role
Arisa Health in Springdale is seeking a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) Accounting Assistant Manager. This position is classified as full-time, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Research and maintain accounts
- Determine work assignments, track progress of staff, resolve billing issues, train staff accordingly to correct problems
- Work closely with other departments
- Train/cross train
Requirements
- Associates Degree, or 2-5 years of experience is required
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to understand state and federal funding contracts and comply with reporting requirements
- Working knowledge of automated accounting systems and Excel
- Ability to reconcile accounts
- Ability to multitask
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities and organize workload
- Problem-solving mindset
- Willingness and ability to alter duties to support the needs of the business
Qualifications
- Associates Degree, or 2-5 years of experience is required
