Accounting and Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting and Finance Manager to lead core accounting operations and provide financial insight that supports sound business decisions in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is a fully remote opportunity, with the requirement that candidates live within a two-hour commuting distance of Spartanburg, SC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with an experienced Accountant; own consolidated reporting, review, and complex entries.
• Manage and support one experienced Accountant responsible for accounting, AP, and AR.
• Own U.S./Korea consolidation and international reporting, including intercompany activity; coordinate audit, tax, and TriNet payroll accounting.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, HR, and Korea leadership; grow into budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and executive materials.
• Once the current process is understood and stable, improve reporting, efficiency, ERP use, controls, automation, and responsible AI use.

Requirements

• Strong accounting foundation with demonstrated multi-entity consolidation and international financial-reporting experience.
• Hands-on experience with a robust ERP; manufacturing finance strongly preferred; inventory and cost-accounting exposure helpful but trainable.
• FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or finance business-partnering experience preferred.
• Naturally curious, collaborative, technology-forward, and hands-on.
• Comfortable researching unfamiliar issues, learning system capabilities, and identifying more efficient ways to operate.
• CPA and relevant degree welcomed but not required when experience is right.
