Accounting Analyst - Ford Credit Bank
Responsibilities
- Prepare standard (recurring) and non-recurring journal entries
- Ensure all journal entries are properly supported and documented, and that close metrics are completed accurately and on time
- Perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Support internal corporate audits, external audits, and statutory examinations
- Aid in the preparation of financial and regulatory reports
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of accounting processes and procedures
- Conduct accounting research to ensure proper accounting and disclosure of transactions
- Support adherence to financial controls
- Collaborate with team members throughout our global organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or auditing
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of organization
- Ability to generate ideas for improvement and implement those ideas independently
- Prior Big 4 public accounting experience or equivalent experience with an SEC registrant or Bank
- Positive, “can-do” attitude
- Experience with SAP

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
