Accounting Analyst

About the role

As an Accountant, you analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in assigned accounting and month-end closing processes under IFRS/SOCPA Standard
• Perform accounting activities with the team
• Provide daily and monthly reports as assigned by the CFO
• Perform month-end closings, general ledger account analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare internal controls
• Maintain continuous contact with vendors and customers regarding invoice payment/receipt
• Assist with the resolution of any issues that could impact the timely month-end closing
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preferably with VAT/CMA certification
• 0-2 years of relevant experience

Technical

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders
• Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge and experience using ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) is an advantage
• Keen on building positive relationships
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
