Accounting Analyst Location: Chester, VA Pay: $20/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Now Hiring an Accounting Analyst! Qualified Staffing is hiring an Accounting Analyst for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity in Chester, VA. This role will support daily accounting operations including purchase orders, invoice discrepancies, reconciliations, journal entries, supplier inquiries, and month-end activities. What You'll Do Create and follow up on purchase orders.Review purchase orders, receipts, and invoices and resolve discrepancies.Assist suppliers with invoice and payment questions.Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations.Support month-end close and corporate reporting activities.Enter, verify, and maintain accurate accounting information and documentation.Support internal controls, SOX compliance, and annual testing requirements.Work with internal departments and accounting teams to resolve financial issues.Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of accounting experience OR a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Experience with accounting, accounts payable/receivable, purchase orders, invoices, or reconciliations preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a team.SOX or internal controls experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, or stooping.Ability to review computer screens, spreadsheets, and financial documentation.
