Accounting Advisory Services Director

About the role

Position Overview: This role involves leading accounting advisory engagements, providing support on financial reporting, regulatory filings, and transaction assistance. The candidate will assist with SEC filings, conversions to U.S. GAAP or IFRS, and offer expertise on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and complex financial structures. Building long-term client relationships and working with valuation teams on valuation events are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale accounting advisory projects and support clients with financial reporting compliance.
• Assist with SEC regulatory filings for various transactions and corporate restructuring.
• Provide conversion and transaction-oriented accounting support, including complex financial structures and bankruptcy emergence.
• Collaborate with valuation advisors on valuation events and assess financial impacts.
• Develop and maintain strategic client relationships to generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least eight years of recent experience in public accounting, advisory, or large multinational organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; CPA or equivalent license required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting, bankruptcies, business combinations, or financial restatements.
• Proven ability to engage with senior executives and lead diverse teams of over twenty professionals.
• Willingness and ability to travel; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
