About the role

Join Schneider Downs, a 65-year-old firm providing accounting, tax, consulting, business advisory, and wealth management services. Our Accounting Advisory Senior position offers a mix of technical accounting advisory services and outsourced accounting and finance advisory services for various types of organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients on complex accounting and finance issues, including technical accounting, financial reporting, operational accounting, buy-side/sell-side accounting assistance, and post-merger integration.
  • Aid in developing detailed project plans tailored to clients' unique needs and expectations.
  • Execute project plans and produce client deliverables, requiring detailed assessments, extensive research, testing procedures, and technical writing.
  • Support outsourced accounting advisory projects by assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks such as month-end close, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Engage in career development activities and technical training for staff.
  • Maintain relationships with client executives and senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in corporate accounting or public accounting roles.
  • Eligibility for CPA license.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and provide excellent client service.
