Contract role: fully remote, through the end of the year with possible extension.
About the role
Support accounting, financial reporting, and business transformation projects for a diverse portfolio of clients across industries on a project basis.
Responsibilities
- Research, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements; provide guidance on complex accounting matters and technical accounting issues.
- Assist clients with transactions and special projects, including new accounting standard implementation, financial close optimization, carve-outs, purchase accounting, and reporting process improvements.
- Collaborate with client leadership and cross-functional teams to develop practical solutions, prepare analyses and deliverables, and ensure timely project execution and compliance with reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience with SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting.
- Must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Pay
Salary ranges by market (experience, education, and skill set determine final salary):
- Colorado: $110,000 – $150,000
- California: $120,000 – $160,000
- New York: $120,000 – $160,000
- Maryland: $115,000 – $155,000
- Massachusetts: $115,000 – $155,000
- Illinois: $110,000 – $150,000
- New Jersey: $115,000 – $155,000
- Vermont: $105,000 – $145,000
- Washington: $115,000 – $155,000
