UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the Arctic region.
About the role
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within the Arctic operations and development sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience in the Arctic environment, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans and timelines
- Oversee project budgets and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction
- Manage project risks and issues
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
- Experience working in the Arctic environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Knowledge of Arctic-specific regulations and best practices
- Experience with project risk assessment and mitigation

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to remote locations
