Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards tailored to aerospace operations.
- Review vendor invoices for Starlink hardware procurement.
- Forecast cash flow for satellite launches.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on cost allocations for production runs.
- Deliver variance analysis reports on budget performance for satellite constellation expansion.
- Manage payroll for finance support staff.
- Conduct audits of inventory valuations for satellite components.
- Partner with the treasury team on funding strategies for rapid scaling.
- Track key metrics like cost per satellite, operational burn rate, and ROI on international ground station builds.
- Lead quarterly close processes and present findings to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and legal departments to mitigate financial risks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in high-tech manufacturing or aerospace sectors.
- Hands-on expertise with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling, financial software such as QuickBooks and NetSuite, and data analytics tools like Tableau.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and cost accounting standards (CAS).
- Solid understanding of international tax compliance and transfer pricing for global operations.
