Accountant, Sr Treasury

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
• Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for audit requests during year-end audit.

Requirements

• Knowledge of principles and procedures of Accounting/GAAP – generally accepted accounting principles.
• Knowledge of hospital organization.
• Able to communicate effectively to ensure satisfactory performance of work activities.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to meet and deal effectively with department personnel.
• Able to analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required with a concentration in Accounting preferred.
• At least five (5) years’ experience as a Senior Accountant in a healthcare environment.

Pay

• $36.47 to $58.35 per hour
