Accountant Senior_BCAT1I
As our Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for general ledger accounting and reporting activities for Renewables or Flexible generation entities.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and annual closing processes for assigned entities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Perform accounting and reporting tasks and meet reporting requirements for Renewables group. Renewables activities include preparing monthly operating reports and cash management
- Develop processes, drive continuous improvement, coordinate requirements upstream and downstream in the organization
- Interface with external auditors and preparation of financial schedules and required requests
- Assist Performance Control Analyst in the preparation of annual budget and annual long-term forecast
- Perform ad-hoc projects as needed, including those which may involve complex or advanced accounting concepts
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in industry or public accounting
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
- Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
- Work in time sensitive environment; may be outside of usual US business hours
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Knowledge of tax equity structures
- Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

Pay
Salary Range: $90,405 – $120,540 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
