Position Summary
The Accounting Manager supports the fiscal closing process, performs general accounting duties, and participates in special projects. Ideal candidates should have accounting and financial experience in a manufacturing environment, intermediate-to-advanced accounting skills, and a high level of initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the fiscal closing process including closing journal entries and subledgers timely and accurately in accordance with GAAP.
- Analyzes, interprets, and reports budget and actual variance and financial results.
- Performs general accounting duties such as balance sheet reconciliations and accruals for payroll, benefits, and marketing.
- Takes ownership of assigned accounts, identifies issues, and reports concerns affecting financial statement integrity to management.
- Participates in special projects related to group-wide initiatives, process simplification, and company-specific projects.

Education/Aptitude
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
- Requires 2+ years of experience, preferably within manufacturing & industrial products industry.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI, OneStream, and Oracle Fusion or ability to quickly understand ERP systems.
