Accountant - Part time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual contributor responsible for moderately complex accounting activities. This role involves maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger and generating managerial reports and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain purchase orders in Ariba based on key contract information and recurring invoices; monitor purchase order approval status.
• Partner with the Invoicing team to implement new purchase order methodologies.
• Initiate new vendor creation in Apex based on business partner input.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to gather information from cross-functional partners.
• Experience with Ariba is a plus.

Schedule

Open to fully remote work; must be willing to work no less than 3 days a week with flexible hours within the 9-5 EST workday. Average working hours are 12 per week, with flexibility up to 15 hours.
