Accountant, Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and execute revenue and O&M processes to manage risk and monitor the health of the processes.
- Work with vendors and Treasury to coordinate monthly O&M payments.
- Ensure payments are made in accordance with contractual terms and our internal payments policy.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies, standardizing processes, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and controls.
- Provide timely and accurate critical monthly financial reporting to management and tax equity sponsors.
- Ad hoc financial analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7 years professional experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel.
- Experience with accounting ERP such as NetSuite, a plus.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Ability to work in the Salt Lake City, UT office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
