About the Role
This position involves performing or directing the accounting management of the fund. The role supports the mission by developing, monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing financial data and reports.
Responsibilities
- Develops, monitors, reviews, and/or analyzes financial reports, payroll, accounts payable, internal review follow-up, and banking data.
- Develops and revises in-house data to meet new requirements.
- Provides guidance and direction necessary to effectively accomplish mission requirements.
- Prepares various reports of findings, recommendations, and financial position.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Non-U.S. citizens will not qualify due to the inability to obtain the required T3 (Secret) investigation.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks, including a Tier 3 background investigation.
Qualifications
Resumes must clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position.
- A bachelor's degree is required, which includes a minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting, or
- Combination of education and experience: at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge. The applicant's background must also include one of the following:
- Twenty-four semester hours in accounting or auditing courses of appropriate type and quality (this can include up to 6 hours of business law).
- A certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination.
- Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in accounting or auditing (e.g., 15 semester hours), but that does not fully satisfy the 24-semester-hour requirement.
Experience MUST be reflected on the resume to receive credit. Transcripts MUST be uploaded at the time of application.

- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized.
- Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
