Key Responsibilities 🔹 Cost Analysis Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost savings and efficiencyReport on standard vs. actual cost variancesCalculate true cost of goods sold for accurate financial insights 🔹 Budgeting & Forecasting Prepare budgets for manufacturing operationsDevelop regular forecasts based on production trends and financial data 🔹 Inventory Management Work with the Purchasing Manager to monitor and reconcile inventory levelsReduce excess inventory and manage carrying costs 🔹 Financial Reporting Generate timely, accurate reports related to manufacturing operationsMake monthly accruals and adjustmentsPrepare tax filings and ensure reporting complianceReconcile accounts and investigate posting discrepancies 🔹 Cash Flow Management Monitor daily and weekly cash flowReconcile bank and credit card transactions 🔹 Payroll Enter Weekly Payroll and Journal EntriesReconcile for accuracy 🔹 ERP System Utilization Maintain accurate financial data within ERP systemEnsure reliability and integrity of manufacturing financial records 🔹 Compliance Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policiesSupport internal and external audit processesStay up to date with tax regulations affecting the manufacturing sector Qualifications ✔️ Proven experience in manufacturing accounting ✔️ Strong knowledge of cost accounting and production finance ✔️ Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel ✔️ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills ✔️ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Why Work with Us?
