About the role
Accountable for delivering Sarbanes-Oxley compliant finance processes in accordance with local and consolidated GAAP, producing accurate and timely financial information from transaction through close and external reporting. The role supports end-to-end Record to Report processes, including processing complex transactions, exception analysis, audits, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Sarbanes-Oxley and regulatory compliant finance processes aligned to local and consolidated GAAP from transaction through close and external reporting.
- Support end-to-end Record to Report activities, including complex transaction processing, exception analysis, audits, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
- Prepare and post journal entries for complex general ledger accounts and reconcile activity to ensure accurate trial balances.
- Execute and support accruals, intercompany, adjusting transactions, and advanced account reconciliations.
- Document detailed processes, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations and apply technical accounting guidance to one-time and new recurring transactions.
- Support ERP and R2R tool implementation and sustainment activities in collaboration with global and functional process owners.
- Contribute to global, regional, and country-specific R2R processes and capture performance metrics at functional, team, and individual levels.
- Participate in rotational assignments across service centers, lines of business, legal entities, and geographies.
Requirements
- Accounting experience across the full accounting cycle from transaction through consolidation, close, and financial reporting.
- Financial services accounting experience preferred, including public accounting experience in the US.
- Proficiency with accounting applications such as PeopleSoft.
- Experience supporting audits, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
