Accountant III

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant III to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and experience within the Oil & Gas industry.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 3+ years of accounting experience - Oil & Gas industry experience required - Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts - Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis - Support month-end and year-end close processes - Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations - Support billing, invoicing, and accounting activities - Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
