About the role
Performing general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, records, analyses and reports capital expenditure schedules to ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and principles.
- Provides financial support including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget.
- Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.
- Maintains responsibility for more of the higher risk, judgmental, and complex areas in the Accounting and Finance department.
- Provides assistance to external audit functions including preparation of audit schedules and assists managers and others with account fluctuation analysis.
- Responsible for special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 years applicable experience
- Bachelor's Degree
