Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Accountant II to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Period: 5 months Pay Rate: Starting form $40 per hour Location: Turlock, CA Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core business hours Job Responsibilities:Attention to details and ability to analyze dataWorks on semi-structured assignments based on existing practices and within guidelinesCompile ad hoc accounting and analyses for other business partnersAssist with internal and external auditsAssists managers and other team members on various projects and analysesAssists with month end/quarter end/year end processPrioritizing and reprioritizing work deliverables and projects based on changing business needsMaking recommendations for process improvementsExperience & Qualification Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required3+ years of experience with a proven track of increased responsibility required Fixed Assets knowledge/experience desired, but not requiredDemonstrates a working knowledge of accounting rules, regulatory rules and/or business processes as it pertains to the accountant's sphere of responsibilityDemonstrates broad based analytical and inquiry skills to understand legal entity financial statements, board reports, and/or filingsEffective interaction and communication skills to communicate issues to management and collaborate with colleaguesStrong computer skills and an intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS ExcelEffectively work in a fast-paced working environmentPossesses a professional attitude that is coachable and willing to learn and growHow to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
