Accountant II

About the role

Responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting support to various departments within the organization. This includes preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and assisting with budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
• Support budget preparation and monitoring
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial data
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and procedures
• Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
