Accountant II

About the role

The Accountant II position is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee the processing of invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in the company's accounting system.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Pay

$45,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
