About the role
Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP.
Ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue and expense and proper classification of financial statement transactions.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of balance sheet accounts and internal financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls
- Perform an accurate and timely monthly close
- Regularly analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts for assigned areas, including but not limited to Property, Plant, and Equipment accounts
- Prepare and record journal entries for assigned areas
- Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analysis commentary for assigned accounts
- Summarize data for management analysis
- Analyze account balances and take required action
- Work with internal business partners to resolve issues
- Support inquiries from internal and external auditors
Requirements
- Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field
CPA a plus
MBA a plus - Skills And Experience: 2 + years’ experience in public or private industry accounting
Ability to organize and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Technical GAAP accounting knowledge
Highly skilled in Excel
Proficient at Word
Collaborative
Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing assignments
Qualifications

Pay
$65,400 - $90,000 annually
Schedule
This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Friday and Monday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed.
