Duties/Responsibilities
- General ledger accounting and GL book maintenance
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Process and manage accounts payable invoices when needed
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Record and maintain fixed asset records in the accounting system
- Conduct physical inventory counts of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies
- Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze reports on fixed asset activity
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CPA/CMA certification, knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, cost accounting experience
