Overview
The Health Department is seeking a Program Coordinator to serve in the Office of the Health Officer. The position will coordinate the work of HPO staff and program contractors to assist them in their ability to accomplish grant requirements for the Pandemic Healthcare Delivery System Model. The grant that supports this position is a one-year grant covering Healthcare Preparedness Region 1, which includes Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Multnomah, Tillamook, and WashingtonCounties as well as ClarkCounty in WashingtonState.
To Qualify
Experience: Two years of responsible program development and coordination experience.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, social work or a related field.
Required Training & Experience:
Basic knowledge of how healthcare delivery systems are organized and operate (hospitals, clinics, public health)
Advanced skill and ability to create and maintain trusting relationships and produce positive outcomes with a broad and diverse spectrum of local health system preparedness partners mostly external to the Health Department; this includes but is not limited to executive managers and staff from hospitals, health systems, local and state health departments, responder organizations, community partners, project contractors, support and program staff from the Oregon Department of Human Services, and Nationwide CDC Grant awardees
Advanced skill and ability to develop and coordinate implementation of a work plan for this $800K federal grant, meet specific performance measures, and manage a variety of program coordinating activities
