Responsibilities
Employees in this classification are entry-level professional accountants who apply accounting principles and practices to a limited range of accounting, budgeting, and/or other fiscal functions. They work under general supervision. The primary purpose of this position is to perform financial compliance activities involving the review, analysis, approval, and processing of payment transactions. Ensure expenditures are properly documented, authorized, accurately coded for financial statement reporting, and processed in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Any one or any combination of the following, totaling three (3) Years (36 Months)

- Work experience and/or training in Accounting or a closely related field
- College course work and/or training in Accounting or a closely related field (including 12 semester hours in accounting)
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
- Pre-graduation applicants are welcome to apply. In order to be considered for employment, the degree must be conferred at the time of application, unless applicant is in the final semester of a degree program; if so, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
- For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body).

\$19.00 - \$20.90 hourly wage
