About the role
UECU Department: Finance
Work Schedule: Hybrid 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger records, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Aid in monthly close and prepare budget-to-actual variance analyses
- Process vendor invoices and payments (check/ACH) and resolve discrepancies
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations as assigned
- Support reporting activities, including 1099 preparation and financial documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML
- Originate wires
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting or finance experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Intermediate Excel skills (including formulas such as VLOOKUP and IF functions)
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across departments
