Accountant I

Envision Radiology is adding an Accountant I to our team! Full Time Monday - Friday | Position Pay Range: $58,320 - $72,900 This position works on-site located in Colorado Springs, Colorado Opportunity for additional, discretionary bonus available Summary/Objective The Accountant I is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss, and subsidiary statements for assigned entities. Essential Functions Provides accurate and timely completion of monthly financial statements and meaningful notes to financial users for all markets/centers.Reviews and analyzes general ledger account balances, verifies accuracy, and makes recommendations for corrections.Distributes non-financial statement reports to our Center/Area Managers, Executive Team, and other Leadership for use in managing the business.Evaluates transactions, agreements, and contracts to ensure they are accurately captured in the financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.Computes and prepares data for journal entries and reviews general ledger and related financial statementsPrepares reconciliations for all accounts in support of month ending balances and verifies the accuracy of intercompany balances.Prepares monthly/quarterly distribution calculations in accordance with Board approved distribution formulas.Maintains an analytical approach when compiling financial statements and other reports to identify outliers and areas indicating need for improvement or further analysis.Provides additional support to the Accounting Department assisting with special projects and analysis as requested.Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Two plus years’ experience in Accounting/Finance - preferredProficient in MS Excel, MS Word & 10-keyStrong analytical skillsDetail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team playerAbility to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accuratelyAbility to excel in a very fast-pace team environmentAbility to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectationStrong communication skills & professional demeanor Education/Certifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent education, training and experience in Accounting/Finance.
