About the role
North American Automotive Group in Cumming, GA is looking for an experienced CPA, Accountant/Financial Operations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
- Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins
- Brief senior managers regularly on the company's financial status
- Liaise with Tax Accountants
- Keep company financial information confidential
- Establishes company directives, vision, and goals
- Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Helping the organization's processes remain legally compliant
- Coordinates activities of departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products/services
- Consults with other executives, and staff about general operations
- Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
- Establish accounting policies and procedures
- Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant is highly preferred
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

Pay
Very competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
